About Eoin Gilley
Eoin Gilley started his career with Apple Computer where he worked for 14 years. During this time Eoin held a number of senior operations positions both at Apple’s Cork Manufacturing facility and at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California.
Following his time at Apple Eoin was Managing Director of Quarterdeck International based in Dublin. Quarterdeck was a software utilities company, headquartered in Marina del Rey, California.
Subsequently Eoin was Managing Director of Artesyn’s European Operation based at it’s European headquarters in Youghal, Co. Cork. Eoin had full P&L responsibility for Artesyn’s European Operations. Product Development, Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing were the key functions under Eoin’s brief. Artesyn was a Power Supply company supplying some of the world’s most demanding companies in the high tech sector.
Eoin was Chief Operating Officer at Parthus Technologies in Dublin. Parthus, now CEVA, is a semiconductor intellectual property company licensing to the semiconductor and OEM market. Eoin had full responsibility for four Divisions comprising Parthus’ Operations Worldwide. Finally Eoin was Chief Executive officer at Optical Metrology Innovations (OMI) based in Cork, Ireland. OMI was a semiconductor metrology company, spun out of NMRC and was recently sold to KLA – Tencor in October 2007.
Eoin has a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Cork Institute of Technology and an MBA from Fordham University New York. Eoin also holds a Diploma in Executive Coaching and a Certificate in Psychometric Science.
Eoin Gilley also has a Certificate in Psychometric Science form the British Psychological Society and is certified to perform Occupational, Ability and Personality tests.
Eoin has over 10 years consulting experience working with companies across many sectors. Eoin has been a Business Advisor and Coach to Irish CEO’s on a number of Leadership for Growth Programmes with Enterprise Ireland.
